How do I install the End Sign Flag Hardware?
The included wall mount comes with both adhesive backing and screws, and the best method for installation depends on the type of wall surface.
For smooth, indoor surfaces (such as glass, ceramic tiles, or other flat finishes), the adhesive backing can be used for quick installation. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and smooth before applying.
For other wall types or for longer-lasting durability, we recommend using the screws provided to secure the mount.
The adhesive is not suitable for outdoor use as moisture will weaken the bond. Indoors, the adhesive can last around 6–12 months, depending on the conditions and placement.
What material is your End Sign Flag made out of?
Our End Sign Flags are made from our high quality SignWeave™ polyester fabric material which is weather resistant. The Flags are printed on 2 layers of our special 4.3 oz. (145 gsm) SignWeave™ material which includes a blockout on the back, and these 2 layers are sewn together. This blockout material ensures that your graphic is not affected by any sunlight bleeding through - so you will always have a vibrant graphic on both sides.
How do I install the End Sign Flag into the pole?
There is a split in the pole that can be opened up to allow the printed fabric to be slid in. After it has been inserted into the pole, a cap is placed on the end of the pole to keep the fabric in place and prevent the slit from opening.
How long will the End Sign Flag last?
All of our polyester Flags are printed using the dye sublimation process which provides a high quality print and vibrant colors.
When used internally (i.e. out of the sun and weather) these flags will last indefinitely.
When used outdoors the dye sublimation print will fade over time and the amount of fading will depend on the amount of UV the flag is exposed to. As an indication we would expect the Flags to last 6 - 12 months of continuous outdoor use before noticeably fading but this could vary depending on the conditions the flags are exposed to. As End Sign Flags are generally used outdoors for short periods of time, they will last a lot longer.
It should be noted that Flags supplied by other suppliers in America will last for the same amount of time as they are all printed with the same dye sublimation process.
Our replacement Flags have very low prices so you can simply replace the Flags when required and continue to use the same hardware.
What’s the difference between square cut and diamond cut End Sign Flags?
The difference is in the bottom edge of the Flag. Square Cut Flags have a straight horizontal edge along the bottom, giving a clean and classic look. Diamond cut Flags have a pointed, angled edge at the bottom (shaped like a “V”), creating a more dynamic and eye-catching style. Both options are printed on the same high-quality material — it just comes down to the look you prefer.
Should I use one of your templates when designing my flag?
If you are designing your own Flag we recommend it is best to use our templates. This way you can ensure that your design is set up to the correct size and best uses the size of the flag. If you do not have your own design, we offer a free design service. Just send us any logos, photos or text you wish to use and we will prepare the design for you to check and approve.
Will the Flag melt in direct sunlight?
The Flag will not melt in direct sunlight, but frequent direct exposure to direct sunlight can cause the color to fade over time.
Are your Feather Flags fire resistant?
The Flag material is not designed to be fire resistant - so we strongly recommend that you avoid placing it near open flames to avoid permanently destroying the flag.
Can the Flag be washed or tumble dried?
The polyester fabric Flag can be cleaned in a washing machine on a gentle cycle using cold water - but please avoid using harsh detergents or bleach. Please do not place the fabric in a tumble dryer - only air dry the Flag and ensure it is completely dry before storing.
