What is the maximum size for Large Format Stickers?
All materials can be printed in a single piece up to 51" wide Γ 196" long. If you require a larger size, your artwork can be produced in multiple panels, with a 20mm overlap added at each join for easy alignment during installation.
Why does the lifespan in the product name differ from the vinyl lifespan?
The vinyl lifespan refers to the unprinted material, as specified by the vinyl manufacturer, and indicates how long the vinyl itself is expected to last before degrading.
The lifespan shown in the product name reflects our estimated durability of the printed sticker, based on both the vinyl material and the expected longevity of the digital print. This is an estimate only and may vary depending on environmental exposure such as UV light, weather conditions, and placement.
Whatβs the difference between gray-backed and white-backed vinyl?
Gray-backed vinyl is commonly referred to as blockout vinyl. While it doesnβt completely block sunlight, it significantly reduces show-through when applied over existing colors or graphics. White-backed vinyl allows more of the underlying surface color to show through, making it better suited for light or neutral backgrounds.
For this reason, gray-backed vinyl is the preferred option when installing stickers over existing signage.
Can Large Format Stickers be cut to custom shapes?
No. Large Format Stickers are supplied square or rectangular only, and custom shape cutting is not available for this product range.
Are Large Format Stickers kiss cut?
No. All Large Format Stickers are individually die cut and are not available with kiss cutting.
Should I add lamination to my Large Format Stickers?
Whether lamination is recommended depends on your application and whether it is available for your selected material (available options will appear in the pricing calculator).
Lamination is a clear protective layer applied over the printed vinyl. It helps protect against abrasion, chemicals, and UV exposure, and can extend the life of the print by approximately 12 months. Lamination is strongly recommended for vehicle signage (excluding bumper stickers), high-traffic or high-wear environments, or long-term outdoor applications
Where available, you may choose between matte or gloss lamination, depending on your preferred finish.
How accurate is the final sticker size?
Due to the flexible nature of vinyl and the heat generated during the HP Latex printing process, finished sticker sizes may vary by up to 1% larger than the ordered dimensions.
